Getting around Warsaw:

Taxis (including Uber, Bolt):

The most common prices in Warsaw taxis are 8 zł for the beginning plus 2-3 zł for each kilometer.

For example, the cost of travel from the apartment (Batorego 16) to the Royal Castle (5.5 km) would be 20-26 zł (about 5-6 euro).

Uber and Bolt taxis probably have the same or similar fares.

However, it is worth remembering that, for example, transport from the airport or traveling at night may be more expensive.

Public transport (metro, trams, buses, trains):

Basic tickets are:

• "75-minute ticket", entitling to an unlimited number of journeys up to 75 minutes from the moment of validation. The cost is 4.40 zł regular and 2.20 zł reduced.

• "20-minute ticket", entitling to an unlimited number of journeys up to 20 minutes from the moment of validation. The cost is 3.40 zł regular and 1.70 zł reduced.
